On June 18, 2008, the legislation in Bill C-50 to implement the tax-free savings accounts received Royal Assent. On July 14, 2008, the Minister of Finance released draft legislative proposals to make certain adjustments to the legislation. This new Chapter describes the concepts and regulations for tax-free savings accounts. |
